Dear God:

I love to keep learning. But I'm not sure what I should be learning. I am beginning to enjoy learning while Dana is studying or at school or work. Today I went out front and took some of the weeds out of the flowerbed next to the mailbox and some in the front right flower bed.
I noticed the shasta dasies are getting real tall and the I trimmed the dusty millers. Some lady came by who works at St. Lois School and asked if I needed help. She said she was a nurse and worked with people in wheelchair there. I thought of Amie then and decided not to get too much into the conversation. I noticed we have some kind of vine on the ground that is spreading.

I have some sunflower seeds trying to grow again. It was too late before if planted the rest of them and to give one to CB & Keaton. So I planted some new ones. Plus some wild flowers, hopefully they will grow in the front left flowerbed. So far they have some greenery coming up.

I want to cut down the tree that is growing up against the wall in the front yard. I'm trying to figure out how to transplant some of the pink almond. Thanks God that I can do these things. I really love to get into it more as the flowers grow up.

There is a cat that came to our house a couple of weeks ago with three small kittens. She was under the wood pile until I think the Squirrels got too close to her. She moved the kittens somewhere and I'm not sure what we Should do. She has come back 2 times since we picked up the bowls. She is skinny and she eats about 3 bowls at a time. Jesus I know we really can't take in anymore so I wrote Tonya and I haven't heard back yet. Please let us know what to do. She will come close to you and can be friendly but I'm not sure if what I am doing feeding her is worse. I can't see her out there went she comes to the house starving and expecting us to feed her and turn her away. Please can you help us find a way she can have a home to go to for permanent.

Midnight is eating really good now. She is starting to eat a lot of everything now days. I hate to see her suffer and turn my face from some of the food that is not good for her. Thank You God for having her live so much longer. Her little one eye makes her look so sad when she looks at you with such trust in her.

Dana was able to go to school in the summer time and take three classes. The internship is the one he likes the most because he is able to work in the Talon web site. The other two classes are interesting one is Business Law and the other communications. I started a scrapbook of his school classes and awards.

My leg is still getting swollen and it seems to be doing fine other than that. I don't want it to be an excuse for not getting around and getting things done.

I really like reading the word and especially Psalm 139. It's a very comforting one. But also it gets me wondering if I am really abiding in you or still hiding some of my selfish ways still.

I don't really know what your future is for us but I don't want to get my own way and be loyal to you. Please help me to be more committed to you and Dana. I've been so lazy and I don't want to be lazy anymore. Please help me get out of bed a lot earlier.

Today Dana & I were looking at the sunflowers. We have a squirrel feeder in the back yard and they love to eat the sunflower seeds and the corn kernels. Well the story is they sometimes toss off the sunflower seeds off the feeder. We used to get large sunflower heads that were dried out and it was interesting to see how much they've eaten and where it ended up in the yard.I think they are going to have a feast this year. We have several of sunflowers at the tree. I'm interested to see them eat the seeds. We keep feeding them. Squirrels are so neat to watch with their little hands eating their food. We had chopped down and trimmed up some of our trees in the backyard. They weren't coming around after that for awhile. So we are really glad that they are coming back to the tree.
We used to have two baby squirrels and it was kind of neat to see them get big over a little while. The two little squirrels were so small that they managed to get into the feeder. I was worried at first and thought it was stuck but realized that it was the way they were getting to the food. I never was so aware of squirrels until we had started to feed them. I like to see the black ones when they wag their tails. We hope sometime in the future to add a larger squirrel feeder.

Dana and I have been working around the yard. Dana planted a garden and it has a lot of vegetables and marigolds it looks great. He is helping me with the flower planting. We got some of our trees cut down and there is a lot of sun now. Good for doing a lot of planting and we plan to plant some grass. I'm enjoying the planting and seeing the flowers growing. Felix and Cato is our latest Foster kittens. They are now 6 months old. Felix is a tuxedo cat with short black and white hair. He's hilarious how he turns his head sideways and he loves to eat lots of vegetables and he likes a lot of food. Cato is our orange and white short hair cat. He loves to watch what we are doing. He stays close to us when we are doing the dishes or working on the computer, TV etc. He is the very energetic one of the both of them.
His face is adorable and really looks interested in what we are doing. I just love them as they are growing. The both of them are playing good together.
We have seven other cats that are the best. Two long hairs and the rest are short hairs. They all love to look out the window and feel the breeze and the leaves blow. The best is to see their little sniffers enjoying the breeze. The rest of the day they are entertained by watching Felix and Cato play. The best is when there is two or three running around. They all are characters. Dana & I really enjoy their different meows and how they interact with each other and us. Cats are great.

I had a good day today looking at the flowers outside. Our Canas are going to start blooming. The weather is very nice today. I let the window up for a while to let the cats smell the cool breeze. My husband and I have a couple of squirrels, they really seem to enjoy eating their food. They are so neat the way they hold their small hands when they eat. They get their food by going into the feeder then sit up on top of the squirrel feeder. They eat the center of the corn out and the seeds. They put the corn on the ground and the birds come along and eat the corn. We've had a lot of neat birds in the back yard.

We don't let our cats out so they enjoy looking out the window and
watching what's going on outside. Bonnie likes to look at just about anything outside. It's funny when they hear the birds or the crickets their little ears just perk up.

I like it when you can look out side and see all the colors of the summer flowers coming out. Spring was beautiful and seeing all the spring flowers.

Our little sweeties are starting to get bigger. We've had our last two cats which we adopted in October a few years ago and they have grown a lot.

I am very happy when people help the cats and dogs that new homes. Ive been reading a lot about the cats on the web. There are so many out there that need homes. I thought our cat kellie was real sick. We did blood test on her for her internal organs. I was worried about her being so skinny that she might have problems with worms or with her kidney. We were so relieved to find out that she is just getting old and sometimes they do lose weight.

We have 7 cats and they all have their own personalities. All girls and sometimes they get so fussy. I love to see them cuddle together, its like a big ball of fur and you see the cute little eyes just looking at you. They have their different meows and it just cracks me up, some of them are long meows and some are so quiet.

My husband and I love to watch the squirrels in the trees and the birds. I saw one that got hit by a car and i had to pick it up and put it in a bag. We use to have a few squirrels that fell out of the tree or was in the yard.

The weather has been beautiful out and I''m glad. It's a good time to work on the yard. I love to see the trees when they change colors and all the different colors. Pretty soon we will be springing forward and it will give us more light in the night.
